Privacy notice
How we handle information when you visit our website, ask about a project or work with us.
Who is responsible
TradeWebDesigners is operated by AlphaMax Digital Services Limited, company number 15537984, registered in England and Wales. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@tradewebdesigners.com or write to 27 Tomlinson Avenue, Luton, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, LU4 0QL.
Information we receive
Our free site review form asks what you want help with, your business name, your website (optional), your name and your email address. Your phone number is optional. If you give a number, you can also tick two separate, optional boxes: one for customer care texts and one for marketing texts.
If you book a free call on our calendar, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service the call is about and the time you pick. We use them to hold the call on Google Meet and to send your confirmation and reminder emails. If you prefer not to use the forms, you can email us instead.
We also receive the correspondence, business content, approvals and project information you provide when discussing or completing work. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, recovery codes or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
When you open the website, your browser connects to our website host. When you use a form or the booking calendar, it also connects to HighLevel/LeadConnector. Booked calls are held on Google Meet, provided by Google. These services receive technical information needed for the connection, such as your IP address and browser information.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to understand and answer your request, arrange a conversation you ask for, prepare a relevant proposal and manage the resulting correspondence. Our legitimate interests are responding to requested business enquiries, preparing proposals, managing business records and protecting our website and services.
Where you are personally a contracting party, we also use information where necessary to take the steps you request before a contract or to perform that contract. We use information where necessary to meet applicable legal obligations and to deal with complaints or legal claims.
A person reviews project requests before a scope or price is agreed. Sending an enquiry or booking a call does not accept a quote, commit you to a project or authorise a payment.
Text messages (SMS)
Our free site review form and booking form have two separate, optional SMS boxes. If you tick the customer care box, we may text you about your enquiry, your free site review, call bookings and reminders, and project updates. If you tick the marketing box, we may text you offers and website tips. The same applies if you tick an SMS box on one of our Facebook or Instagram lead forms. Texts come from Trade Web Designers (AlphaMax Digital Services Limited). Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email hello@tradewebdesigners.com. If you do not tick a box, we do not text you.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We only pass your number to the service that sends our texts (HighLevel/LeadConnector).
Who receives information
Our authorised team uses HighLevel/LeadConnector to receive form submissions and call bookings and to manage enquiry and project records. Google Meet hosts booked calls. Website hosting, email delivery and mailbox providers process the information needed to display the site and handle correspondence.
We may share relevant information with professional advisers or where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If a project uses a payment service, we will give you the relevant information when that service is introduced.
How we keep information secure. The website and form run over encrypted HTTPS connections. Only our authorised team can access enquiry and SMS records, using individual logins with strong passwords and two-step sign-in where available. We use established providers with their own security controls, keep software up to date, and limit what we collect to what we need.
International processing
Our enquiry provider, HighLevel/LeadConnector, operates internationally. HighLevel’s published subprocessor information identifies infrastructure and communications processing in the United States and support operations in India.
HighLevel publishes data-processing terms that include international-transfer provisions, including the UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, and a list of subprocessors. For information about safeguards relevant to your information, including how to obtain a copy, contact hello@tradewebdesigners.com.
How long we keep information
We keep identifiable enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to handle your request and relevant follow-up. We consider whether a conversation or proposal remains active, whether you have asked us to contact you later, and whether the information is needed for an agreed project, an applicable record-keeping obligation or a complaint or legal claim.
When those reasons no longer apply, we delete or anonymise the information. An automated reminder on its own is not a reason to retain an inactive enquiry. Project, payment and complaint records are retained according to the work and applicable obligations involved, rather than one fixed period for every record.
Where you ask us not to contact you, we keep the minimum suppression record needed to respect that choice while there remains a risk of contacting you again.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the law and the reason we use your information, you may have rights to access, correct or delete it, restrict its use, receive a portable copy or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. We may need to verify your identity and explain any applicable exception.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Email hello@tradewebdesigners.com. If a marketing message offers an unsubscribe or STOP option, you can also use it.
For UK data-protection concerns, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You may also contact us so that we can try to resolve the concern. Additional rights may apply in your US state; send requests to the same email address.
Browser storage and external services
The website and embedded quote form are provided through separate services. Your browser settings allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies and other browser storage. Restricting storage can affect how a website or embedded service works.
You can request a quote by emailing hello@tradewebdesigners.com instead of using the embedded form. HighLevel provides information about its own services in its privacy policy.
